Welcome to a very special, end of the year episode of the Trade To Black Podcast! We hope you had a happy and safe holiday season and are gearing up for an exciting New Year tonight. Today, as we bid farewell to 2023, we’re bringing you our end-of-year video where we look into the Top 10 stories in the cannabis world retrospectively.

At least, these are the Top 10 cannabis stories and developments of 2023 that seem to be the biggest events in our opinion. We’re sharing our take on each of these.

On the table today: Canopy Growth selling Smith Falls, the David Bois Lawsuit, adult use of cannabis in Germany, Curaleaf and TerrAscend listing on the TSX, the New York OCM, the state of Maryland going live – and let’s also not forget Ohio did as well – the House Speaker chaos that happened this year, all the ups and downs regarding SAFE (and SAFER) Banking, and of course, the recommendation by the HHS that cannabis be rescheduled from Schedule I to III controlled substance.

Remember, this list isn’t set in stone—it’s our perspective. We invite all of our viewers to have a listen in on our picks for the Top 10 cannabis stories of 2023. Then be sure to let us know on our socials: do you agree that these 10 are huge, or disagree?
